Privacy Policy — SeamDiff

1. Who we are

SeamDiff is developed and published by Webeard. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What data we collect

None. SeamDiff does not collect any personal information, usage data, analytics, crash reports, or telemetry of any kind.

The app stores the following data locally on your device only:

Your editor preferences (theme, font size, colors) — saved in the app's local storage
The last folder location used for each file picker — saved in ~/Library/Application Support/seamdiff/state.json

This data never leaves your Mac and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

3. Files you open

SeamDiff reads files solely to display them in the diff editor. File contents are never uploaded, cached remotely, or shared in any way. When you close the app, no file content is retained.

4. Third-party services

SeamDiff does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app makes no network requests of any kind during normal use.

5. App Store

SeamDiff is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain usage and diagnostic data according to their own privacy policy. We have no access to this data. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

6. Children's privacy

SeamDiff does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13. There is nothing to collect.

7. Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy in a meaningful way — for example, if a future version introduces network features — we will update this page and revise the effective date. We will not retroactively change data practices in ways that are less protective.
